(8/5/2021) Day Thirteen at Grace Baptist Church Internship
Day thirteen at the internship at Grace Baptist Church was four hours, which is from 9:41 am to 1:41 pm. Daniel wanted me to continue making images on Procreate for Grace Baptist Church's Eggstravaganza video. However, I had technical difficulties with the iPad because it kept going off every time I turn it back on and put in the code. I had to wait for Daniel to come back from his two meetings to find out if I should continue working on my moonbounce design on Procreate or use my download to trace it on Adobe Photoshop. He decided for me to continue on Photoshop and assist me in gaining access to the church’s sound booth desktop. I uploaded the saved download of my moonbounce outline into the background layer and made another layer to trace over it. I even added the four crosses on each of the four cone-shaped roofs. I made another layer behind the first to color in all the areas in the moonbounce. I colored in the roofs, the top part of the base, and the bottom part of the base with a dark reddish-brown. I colored in the base with a light tannish yellow. I colored the net-like windows and entrance sky blue with the small opening a very dark brown. I colored the crosses a light orange-brown and used another layer in front of the two other layers to add light line colors on certain areas in order to make the moonbounce look like a balloon. I deleted the background layer with the download image and saved it. I made another project making a set of three cotton candies. The background layer I left blank since I will not need it. I made my first layer outlining the cotton candy part with light pink, light blue, and light green. I made another layer behind the first to color the cotton candy in pink, blue, and green. I made another layer behind that layer to outline the three cotton candy cones with light gray. I made one more layer behind that layer to color the cones white. I deleted the background layer after I was done with that project. I got started on the third project of a hot dog with a bun. I made the hot dog a brown color on the first layer. I then made another layer on top of the first and made the right side of the bun. I made another layer behind the first and second layers and made the left side of the bun. I then made another layer above the other layers and made a thick red wavy line representing the ketchup. I made another layer in between the first and the fourth layer and made the thick yellow wavy line representing the mustard. I stopped for day thirteen for four hours, with a total of forty hours and thirty minutes.
