(7/9/2021) Day Six at Grace Baptist Church Internship

Day six at the internship at Grace Baptist Church was three hours and twenty-three minutes, which is from 9:37 am to 1:00 pm. Daniel wanted me to continue working on my two moodboards, using the website called Canva, at home because he was going to be absent at the church. He wanted me to make two moodboards filled with pictures, at least ten photos, that show the bible theme "Salt and Light." Even though I already sketched the moodboard, I decided to brainstorm two more sketch ideas about how the two moodboards might look like. The first moodboard had a dark wooden background since I felt it would make the project look formal. I tried looking for images on google for the "Be the Salt and Light Matthew 5:13-16" title to put in the center of the moodboard, but I then decided to create the title using the Herr Von Muellerhoff font. I uploaded various images from Google, Behance, and even Flickr for the first moodboard project. I had pictures of salt on the left side of the moodboard. I had four pictures of salt and a light bulb and even them fused in the middle top and bottom of the moodboard to show salt and light theme. I then had pictures of light-related objects on the right side of the moodboard. For my second moldboard, I decided to have the artwork contain different styles of the bible verse for the salt and light and have photos of salt and light related objects. I used Google and Behance for this moodboard as well. This was different than what I originally planned. I was going to have photos containing different bible verses that relate to salt and bible verses that relate to light. But I wanted to stick with one verse that implies both at the same time. This picture also has a wooden background but is covered with photos. I made a pattern that goes photo of verse to photo of salt or light and then repeated from left to right on the top and bottom of the moodboard. I even put a light bulb photo on one side and a salt photo on the right side. I used a cropped "Salt and Light" photo in the center of the moodboard so people can see that first. After I finished with my two moodboards, I sent them to Daniel so he can view them and tell me whether or not they are acceptable for the Church's Instagram page or if I should modify them more. I stopped for day six with three hours and twenty-three minutes, with a total of seventeen hours and seventeen minutes.
